Scholarship Application

All completed applications must include:

1. An official, sealed, high school transcript or an official college transcript of the student.
2. New incoming freshmen applicant must have two (2) character references from any combination of school, community, civic and/or religious leaders.
3. A 250–500 word essay on the topic “Why I am Attending Fayetteville State University and My Career Goals and Aspirations”.
4. Failure to provide the above requirements may eliminate further consideration. The Cumberland County Chapter (Hometown Broncos) will host a scholarship event to be announced. Recipients must attend a chapter meeting and a community event organized by the chapter in the same semester that their scholarship funds are received.. Each recipient will be allowed to invite up to 4 guests. Pictures will be taken at the event for exclusive use by the Chapter.
5. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be required to provide a headshot before the scholarship is awarded. Your headshot will be maintained and used as part of the scholarship history and archives.
