Development/Fundraising Committee

The Development/Fundraising Committee shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all efforts to cultivate and strengthen the Chapter’s community relationships, which serve as the foundation for most contributions to the Chapter. All fundraising activities must be submitted to the Development/Fundraising Committee, including proposed activities and a detailed budget.

Program Committee

The Program Committee shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing special social functions sponsored by the Chapter. These functions should be designed to maximize interest and member involvement.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing programs aimed at increasing Chapter membership. This committee should collaborate with the Office of Alumni Affairs, local businesses, and community organizations.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee shall be appointed to provide accurate, high-quality internal auditing, budgeting, and financial oversight. The committee ensures compliance with accounting standards and supports the organization’s financial goals through diligent monitoring of expenditures and services.

Student Recruitment Committee

The Student Recruitment Committee shall be responsible for engaging with local high schools, the Office of Admissions, Career Services, and the Office of Alumni Affairs to plan activities and programs that encourage qualified students to attend FSU.

B.R.O.N.C.O. (Building Relationships with Our New Culture of On-the -Rise) serves as a vital bridge between Fayetteville State University and the surrounding community. By fostering meaningful connections with local high schools, alumni, admissions, and career services, this initiative creates a unified front to recruit, support, and inspire future Broncos. For the Alumni Chapter, B.R.O.N.C.O. provides a clear and impactful way to give back offering mentorship, sharing success stories, and investing in the next generation. For the university, it strengthens enrollment efforts, promotes school pride, and ensures that students see Fayetteville State not just as a college, but as a community committed to their growth and success.

Publicity Committee

The Publicity Committee shall be responsible for promoting all Chapter programs and activities in a manner that encourages active participation. This includes working with newspapers, radio and television stations, and community organizations to ensure broad outreach.

Benevolence Committee

The Benevolence Committee shall be responsible for sending cards and expressions of sympathy or congratulations to members and/or their families, as deemed appropriate.
